OllyBorange Productions Inc. presents a documentary on Paul Anthony, an Internationally renowned Canadian Johnny Cash tribute artist. Introducing Following the Man in Black, inspired by Paul’s own memoir “Hello… I’m not Johnny Cash”.
Paul has recorded his CD at Johnny Cash’s recording studio in Memphis, Tennessee. He had the support of W.S “Fluke” Holand Johnny Cash’s original drummer and Johnny’s last Stand-up Bass player, Five-time Grammy Award Winner Dave Roe, Marty Stuart’s lead guitarist Cousin Kenny Vaughn and Chuck Turner, Cash Cabin’s Grammy Award Winning Producer and Engineer.
Paul was Invited by Mark Cash, Johnny Cash’s nephew, to perform at the official re-grand opening of the amazing Story Tellers Museum in Bon Aqua, Tennessee, where Johnny Cash last performed on ‘The Little Stage.’
On September 11th 2016, Paul recorded an acoustic version of Hurt in the living room of John’s farmhouse in the same chair Johnny Cash was sitting in when he recorded that very song.
Global Spectrum awarded Paul with the prestigious Hammer Award making him a recipient amongst the following entertainers, Sir Elton John, Sir Paul McCartney, James Taylor and the Canadian Rock band Rush.
Paul was awarded the distinct honour of Tribute Artist of the Year, by the largest independent music organization in the world The Josie Music Awards in Nashville, USA.
Paul received the distinguished Lifetime Achievement Award from the International Red Carpet Music Awards, FPCM in Holland, Europe.
